Lawry's The Prime Rib

Been there many times as in walk pass, be it the old branch at Paragon or newly shifted Mandarin Gallery, I have never tried the food there. To me, it seems like a super ATAS place. It's not that I never been to atas place before but this restaurant always give me an impression that its empty. Empty = Atas! ... therefore doesn't really interest me. Or perhaps I'm not really a rib person so no regrets even if I really don't have a chance to dine there. Oops I think I will really regret cos after I tried the streak or should I say roast rib, unlike others where the well done steak tends to be dry & hard whereas the rib at Lawry's is juicy and soft. It's really "well done"! I was still wondering if I should order the fish & chip when Dear strongly recommend the rib. If Dear says its good, it must be good, afterall how could you not try their most popular dish! Pretty impressed with the Spinning bowl salad even though I don't take salad & their giant UFO where the chef will put it near your table & ask how you want the meat to be done and they will cut it infront of you. Overall I rate this place 8/10. Thanks dear for the lunch, must bring me there again next year when you got the free voucher :)
