an eventful weekend...for the lovebirds..

weekend started on the 16th july for others, but it came especially early for us instead, on the 15th july, because we decided to take PM leave from work and met up eariler than we do normally. however, the big plans had just started!!
darling was getting all dolled up as she prepared for her d&d in the evening. hence, she did her nails at far east, while i met my boss lw and her family for lunch at vivo. and then we managed to meet up at wisma isetan where she got her eyebrows trimmed, while i queued up to get her a drink from the bubble tea shop outside. did i mentioned that we did a "little parade" at LV ion? yeah, that's for the bigger plan we had! *beams*
we then travelled to city hall, bought her favourite popcorn on the way, and proceeded to check in pan pacific hotel (where her d&d was held). however, we got an delighted surprise when darling actually got upgraded to an executive room without any additional cost. it came with english breakfast in the following day (but we didnt have enough time to utilise the morning tea, and high tea). Room number #32-14. oh boy, it came with a magnificant view where you can see esplanade, MBS and the singapore flyer right from the balcony. at the same time, we managed to catch a glimpse of the ndp rehearsal. it was totally awesome!
shortly, a few of darling's colleagues came up to "borrow" the room for make-up session, and they left for their d&d. as for me, pipo came to meet me up for dinner and billard. but after the dinner, i told pipo i wanted to get a gift and a small bouquet of flower for my darling, so we went to get the items. we went up to the hotel room to "plant" the surprise, in my hoping that darling will be surprised when she came up to the hotel room after her d&d
however, before i could placed the gift and the pink colored roses in the middle of the bed, i actually saw another gift being placed there, and definitely i know its a surprise for me from her. seriously, its pure coincidental, and its really a kinda of too sweet a feeling. i know darling will be elated to see the surprise i had for her too. and i guess both pipo and her group of friends would be so swelled in honey sweetness regarding the surprises we planted for each other..
in the next morning, we managed to go for the english breakfast and laze in the bed for some tv program, "the wipeout" and napped awhile again before we did our late check out at 2pm. took a cab home, rest a while, and we went to northpoint levis with the hope of getting the levis dress darling had been eyeing and also a pair of jeans for myself. however, the dress was out of stock, and we rang the AMK branch and it was out of stock too.
smart darling decided to call up the biggest branch in city hall and they have a new piece with her size. well, i told her that we should juz make our way there to collect and try the jeans, and then meet up with sis jas and bro-in-law for our dinner at chen fu ji. in the end, we did so and darling managed to get her dress and a pair of jeans. i too got myself a pair of levis jeans.
after the shopping, we made our way to central for the dinner. i reckon that its a total ripped-off despite we purchased the deal vouchers at 50% discount. we had the $60 credit (bought at 30 bucks), yet im still paying another 80 bucks for the remaining bill. hence, we concluded that it would possibly be the first and last treat in that restaurant. after the dinner, we had a little walk to liang court, where darling was fascinated by the night clubs and pubs along the area. she wanted me to bring her there someday, well, for this, i will consider la.. anyway, darling manged to get her japanese cup bowl noodle while i gotten some pudding dessert home.
by the end of the night, we were both beat and exhausted that we decided to go home and rest.
sunday. i decided to accompany darling to watch her long awaited transformer movie! i had never been an transformer fan, which i had never catch any of the previous episode, and this is the 3rd transformer movie already. all in all, i guess it was not as bad as i think. at least i did not fall asleep in the mid of the show. oh, but we actually went back to the cinema hall to look for my almost-went-missing jacket. hahaha.

dinner was simple, chicken chop and some bbq chicken wings for the both of uoves. and we spent the rest of the evening at home. but the evening was also a special one as i do not have to rush darling to get home when the clock stuck 9 or 10. she had notified her mum early enough to let her stay overnight for sunday night! hence, i got an extended weekend with my super awesome darling! hooray!!
