It's my first time to Universal Studio Singapore, although I have been to the one at Osaka & Dear been to the one in States, moreover this is her second time to USS but the feeling's different as this marks our first themepark together. I'm really appreciate to my sweet colleague who's willing to travel down all the way from her home and she's on leave to go RWS with me to purchase the tickets with her NTUC card at discounted rate. Initially, I hesitated as why trouble ourselves to go all the way there to save $20 odd but after the whole trip, I'm glad I made the right choice. Not that I'm cheapo to save that small bits of money but to spent $66 per pax is really not worth it. Been to the Universal Studio in Osaka, I already felt that it's a smaller scale themepark compare to Disneyland but the one in Singapore is even smaller. When she mentioned it's small, I never thought it's that small. BUT! that doesn't affect me, I still enjoyed the day cos I'm with her.


Managed to snap pictures with popular mascot. Silly her keeps telling me she want to find them all so I can take more pictures. But do you know I prefer to take with you? I know you don't really like taking pictures cos you always say you don't look good in it but practice makes perfect! Take more with me next time okie. This time round, didn't take many rides.. reason due to my "brave" Dear don't dare to take!! ha ha. I guess many people "will drop their specs" if they know the mighty Shirley is actually afraid of rides. But still there's always a second option- less dangerous rides. Missed the Jurassic park ride as the waiting time is always 120,110 or 90mins. Doubt we want to wait that long under the hot sun. Oh forgot to mention, that day was HOT, really HOT. Dear got Pek Cek easily as she's can't stand the heat and I got to sayang her on & off. She's my little kid that day! ha ha :) N at long last, I finally understand the whole story of the Shrek 4D. The one at Osaka are in japanese, me & gorgeous only enjoyed the special effect but don't understand the story.
As I mentioned its a small themepark but we still can walk from noon to almost 8pm. Totally exhausted by then and we still got to head back to the hotel to collect our bags. Thankful to Dear who suggested to take cab back home. And also thanks for the dinner, this is supposed to be part of your birthday present yet you paid for the dinner & stuffs. SILLY DEAR! Look forward to more & more themeparks with you in the future.
