NDP 2011 and Cycling at ECP
Wednesday, 10 August 2011

It's juz another last min decision to join Darry's family for cycling at ECP on a public holiday. Although part of the reason is I get to see Mei Mei again (thou met on fri & sat) but also there's no plan for us so why not join them and can exercise at the same time. As the previous night, Dear finally get the chance to stay over at my place, my sweet mum offered to help us get breakfast from Tamp roundmarket. Happy that I can eat my favourite Nasi Lemak from Tamp in the morning. Did I tell you that's what I eat on every Sunday when I used to be at home. We laze around in the room till we finally received message from Darry. Oh and it's not just us who made a last min decision for cycling, Jasmine & Gladys too! =)

As it's National Day, ECP is almost filled up with people wearing red (Dear's favourite colour). Too bad, she didn't bring extra clothes to change but still she wearing white so it's part of our National colour. Renting a bike in ECP is a good deal as they are having a 1+1hr promotion so we have more time to cycle to a further part of ECP. Actually to cycle a 2 person bike is stressful enough but to cycle in ECP is even more stressful. You got to avoid those people who don't understand the diff of walking lane & cycling lane and also those who think they are taking part in F1 and keep cutting across the lanes. Conclusion, you got to be skillful and try to keep cool at all times. I think the third time will be better :)

At first I was thinking how Mei Mei is going to cycle as to put her in the baby "basket" seems dangerous to me but I forgot they have a car and they can put the kid's bicycle in the boot. Anyway no chance to cycle side by side with her cos after getting our bike, we just cycled off till we reached the end of ECP (I think). This is the first time I have come so far of ECP and cycled for a total of 2hours!! Wow talk about it, now my butt feels a bit pain (haha).

After dinner, we quickly proceed to Marina Bay, somewhere near Raffles Place to view fireworks. Overthere, we met up with JF. This is our first time viewing 3 times of firework but all at the different place. I hope next year and moving forward, there's always you beside me to celebrate all festival. Love you! *beams*
