2nd Family trip to Desaru : 3-4 Sept 2011

I'm sooooo sorry for not updating this blog of ours. Like my dear mentioned in the previous blog, I have just changed another job that required me to work non stop in office and by the time I reached home, I just feel like relaxing only. But I know I have so many things to update here so I decided to stop being so lazy and get started!!!
Here we go for our 2nd family trip to Desaru (again). It's not that we super fancy that place, its just that the first time we spent too much time travelling around places of interest at Desaru till we have no time to spent at the resort so this time round, we decided to stay only at the resort and enjoyed the sea sports. Well supposed to be a per couple room stay (finally) as we bought this from a deal but .... Jo is single so my dear decided to take her in (sigh) no chance of being alone with her in the 2 storey high room. But dear told me its just a NIGHT so just bear with it. Ok.. since u say so~
It has been a long time since I stepped into a mall when all the shops are not opened. This is what happen before we go Desaru.Our first stop is the new latest mall at JB. Mei Mei and the rest of the kids are running freely in the mall like its their home :) We settled our breakfast there and waited slower for the shops to open one by one. Seriously I think I prefer this one than the usual one we go (which I forgot the name) as it's much more bigger and more things to shop around. BUT.. as usual.. we bought nothing BUT I bought a Hello Kitty doll for my favourite Mei Mei. Oops, my dear paid for it. So means we share la. Haha.
I really enjoyed the sea games although we only played Kayak (FOC) inclluded from the deal. It's quite a good deal as it's 30mins and in between we can exchanges players. Me and Dear, Me and Mad, Mad and Darry. Maybe I'm naturally slow so while we are paddling, dear mentioned her arm is aching but I don't feel anything. Haha! The rest of them played "need to pay" sea games like motorjet? Frankly I'm interested but to pay $100 plus RM for 30mins, I think I rather see only. BUT on my way to my massage, I saw one of the game that I'm very interested but due to limited time, I guess it's a pass again till...the next time. Its like a yellow float tied to a motorboat and flying in the air while the motorboat speed. COOL!
For the first time I tried a Indian style of massage. Both thai and Indian use their own kind of oil and Indian oil are much hotter as if it's heated up before use. I kindof liked it but the only diff is before you lay on the bed, you have to sit on a chair and the the indian lady will massage your hand and arm first. Laying on bed is only when they are massaging your back and leg. Before I forget, they are much more "open" than Thai. They simply massage your body even it's the more "sensative" area which really surprised me when they keep rubbing up and down "that" area. However, this is also the first time I fall asleep during massage, must be from the sea games. I envy my dear who played with Mei Mei in the pool while I'm away :( .
As usual, the good thing about going to family trip is almost every meal consist of seafood and many dishes which I enjoyed a lot. Glad I'm eating more than the previous trip, maybe as time goes by, you are closer with other pp, you tend to be less paisay! Wahaha! *After we checked out, we proceed to Ostrich farm (one of the few places I will ever want to step in) Overall what I'm doing there was just stand somewhere far from the Ostrich and dear quickly snap pics of US and I walked off or hiding/running (whichever) from them. Most of dear's pictures was taken by other family members as I'm hiding.
All in all, we had a good time with the rest of the family members and really looking forward to the next one..hoping to be Malacca! :) Let's make this work!!
