happy valentine's day 2012!!

we had two mini celebration for this every year of valentine's day!
we decided to do a staycation at M-hotel on the weekend before 14 feb, in fact, we got a free upgrade to the club suite. anyway, one of the reason for the staycation was we wanted to hug each other to sleep so badly, and another was to exchange our v-day pressie for each other..
i did a make-with-love photobook of all the major events in 2010-11, a bag voucher (to be redeemed her MBMJ bag in the up-coming hk), bought her a box of romantic words that is magnetic (which i told her to place it on our future fridge), a small little appreciation book, and a very humorous card.
she bought me the agnes-b capwear that i had been contemplating if i should buy and wear it on our hk trip, and she also surprised me with a mont blanc (my favourite brand) business card holder, and a very expensive v-day card (she claimed). seriously, im so happy and glad to receive the gifts as i can really put it into good use in time to come.
and today (the actual v-day), she had applied half-day pm leave to accompany me. and kudos and appreciated that she acutally did the planning for the events (where to eat, where to go). we had a buffet lunch at todai@mbs, it was my virgin trip there, and dar's second attempt. we both felt that the food was so-so (dar mentioned thta their standard dropped temendously, lols), however the alaska crabs was indeed sweet and nice. they might also need to improve their speed in replenishing the food supply, we felt. but still, all in all, i enjoyed the peaceful lunch with my love.
after which, we hanged around mbs mall, did some window shopping and spent some good time together before we proceeded to cine-leisure for the movie called love (which had been pre-booked by darling). its a taiwanese movie, with quite a number of big cast, dar felt that the storyline was quite well-done with all the interlinks.
we had decided to go for dinner at the song fa bak ku tek that is opposite central shopping mall. again, this is the first time i tried the bak ku tek there, which i thought was pretty not bad, i dont mind gg there for meals again. =) and this time round, dar gave the dinner treat as i had paid for the lunch. silly her. =)
after the super-full dinner, we took a short journey bus to bugis parco junction to walk around the shops as a good digestion exercise. however, i suggested to dar that we should go take neoprint as we can select the date stamp (14 feb) on our pictures. hence, we went ahead and indeed we are happy to take the pictures as part of memento for this year v-day celebration...
