Mid Autumn Festival 2012

This year Mid Autumn Festival is a special day for me as this is the first time I celebrate and also with Dear. Well, we can't recall what did we do during this day last year but it's never too late to start. It all started after Dear cut her hair at Chong Pang and we passby a shop that sells lantern so she say why not we go Yishun park to play with lantern. I'm fine with the idea as I never really play with it since young, after my mum banned us from playing as the candle wax dripped on the living room floor. We waited till 8pm after we had our crabby dinner and proceed to Yishun Park.

To my surprise, there's really people playing with lanterns, not just kids, even adults. Well maybe it goes back to my past where I never celebrate this festival so I'm quite shock to see this scene. Haha! Dear told me if we went to Chinese Garden, there's more people and maybe more feel. Well, we can go next year :) . We bought 2 extremely cute lanterns that's printed with mouse and cat on it respectively. We went to a empty corner and start placing the candle in the lantern. I'm sorry that I can't help Dear to light up the candle as I have extreme fear against fire. After we are done with it, Dear decided to create a love shape and the year using the candles. Finally I helped out with lighting the candles and there are too many of them and if Dear would to light them up one by one, it will take a while. The whole celebration finished within an hour.

Thanks Dear for bringing me to play something I never had the chance to do so since young. I enjoyed this special day with you and I believed after this time round, we will be more well prepared if we are doing this again and of course with the experience gain, I will light up the candles faster and create more shape, words.. Hee hee! Love you! <3
