Kim Jong Kook Fanmeet 2013

It started with the Korean variety show, Running Man which makes us or rather me (quit chasing after idol since xx years) once again back to action. Upon knowing that one of the member, Kim Jong Kook will be coming to Singapore for a fan meet, I was then very excited and told her I wanted to go but at that time, the tickets are not release and no further information was given. When I finally get hold of the info, I realised the price is way beyond my expectation hence I decided not to go and waste money since it's just an hr fanmeet.

Just one week before the fanmeet, my silly dear posted a picture on FB and tagged me. I was super excited when I saw it (but I couldn't show my excitement at that time as I'm in the bus, therefore dear say I'm not very excited... silly you expect me to shout n jump in bus??) Anyway, it's a picture of the fanmeet tickets. Silly her went to search online for days hoping to find a seller and when she's about to give up, finally she found one and at a cheaper price. Lucky her and ME who can finally meet a Korean star!!

At first I thought the fanmeet is just about him singing for an hour and maybe chat with fans but surprisingly, he just sang 3-4 songs and most of the time, its interaction with fans which consist playing games, chatting. Quite an enjoyable night as most of the time, he's responding directly with us and we are surprised he speaks english well. As the ticket does not include the photo taking session therefore we got to leave the hall first but dear say we can continue to "chase" him at IMM the next day which he will be at for another autograph session. Yippy!

I must say we are super lucky the next day as we actually met KJK in person by chance while got off his car to enter IMM. Dear caught his attention when she shout "Oppa" and he therefore turned around. I was sooooo happpy then and also called Oppa! Although we reached the open area one hour before it start but there are many fans waiting there, we had no choice but to stand somewhere further. But then I don't mind anymore as I have saw him in person and there's no one there to surround us! Oh that's not the end! We went home early to watch him on TV live as he's appearing as guest star. Hee Hee! Thanks dear for making this happen. Love you!!
