cny 2014! horsey year!!

time flies, and it is the lunar new year again! and it is the horsey year!
this year, we had an especially long break due to the festive falls on the weekend, and monday was a declared off-in-lieu holiday!

cny-eve. as usual, similar to last year, i went to darling's place for dinner! and after that, we proceed to watch a movie (hello babies) knowing that we will have nothing much to do.. oh yah, not to forget my darling's 200 bucks new pyjamas.. 


1st day of cny. i visited darling's house first for lunch, as well as bai nian to her mum, and then we proceeded to yishun house.. where all my other siblings will be there as well.. watch out for the yummy ngo hiang handmade by my mum!!

at night, we also went to the river hongbao 春到河畔 2014 at the float @ marina bay with my brother and his family... 


2nd day of cny. i went over to darling's place for lunch again, knowing that her sis and bro in law will be coming, so we will need to bai nian to them as well.. we also had our exchange of hongbao between ourselves. hope darling will have a smooth year ahead! huat ah!!

after that, the plan was to visit istana grounds which is open to the public in celebration of cny, but the queue was so horrible that it reached the bus stop at PS. so we decided to give it a miss and catch another movie (golden chicken 3)..


3rd day of cny. it was a house-chore day! we went my house opposite for a absolutely cut-throat lunch meal, and came back for some hardcore ironing of 2-weeks clothes.. and we decided to reward ourselves by going for a good meal at night which is also our first buffet ( azur @ crowne plaza airport hotel) in the horsey year!!

4th day of cny. we had our lunch at sushi-tei at tampines before we proceed with our plan of going USS once agan! our main purpose was to catch the characters dressed in cny clothes!
